What Is The Definition Of Natural Bodybuilding

By Natural Bodybuilding Magazine.

Natural bodybuilding is no longer what it used to be because of the increasing option available for natural steroid supplements and many other factors. For example one could ask a simple question about natural bodybuilding and the taking of Creatine-Monohydrate or L-Glutamine etc.

Together with some highly sophisticated "supplements" like Taraxatone to increase muscular definition there are certainly many experts that will tell that natural bodybuilding is dead. The point is that even though one can still develop an impressive physique without taking any legal supplements, using them will definitely speed up your results.

Although most official natural bodybuilding competitions that are held all over the world would not ban the use of any natural supplements they still categorically exclude any use of anabolic steroids or insulin or any human growth hormone extract or its derivative.

But there is more to natural bodybuilding than that and it will more than likely get a lot worse before it gets any better. It is drugs like the insulin growth factor (IGF) and Clenbuterol or the new thyroid hormones (T3 and T4). Not to mention the much-abused addition of ephedrine and caffeine often used by bodybuilders to help burn body fat and increase energy levels.

Natural bodybuilding competitions started in the 1980's but it did not solve the problem because many bodybuilders always believe that they have a small chance of not being discovered to have a drug in them because of the expensive limitations on testing for all possible drugs that a bodybuilder can take to gain muscle.

The result of all of this has unfortunately required the redefining of exactly what a natural bodybuilder is. They even went so far as to call them True Natural Bodybuilders, which are defined as someone who has NEVER taken any one of the following substances ever in his or her life.

. testosterone
. anabolic steroids (AS)
. human growth hormone (HGH)
. insulin
. insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) such as IGF-1 and IGF-2
. any anabolic prohormones, prosteroids or precursor steroids
. thyroid hormones such as T3 and T4
. 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP)
. clenbuterol
. erythropoietin (EPO)
. norephedrine, ephedrine, ephedra, and ma huang
. amphetamines
. diuretics
. synthol
. selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs)
. myostatin inhibitors
. gene doping
. muscle stem cells

The point is the defining of exactly what a true natural bodybuilder is and it is certainly not someone who is always looking out for the latest exotic plant extracts that promotes muscle growth or someone who gets all excited about a new drug that is not prohibited by the anti-doping agencies yet and then considers it a unique discovery.

A true natural bodybuilder is someone who leads a healthy lifestyle, which is dedicated to developing muscles only with hard and smart training. A natural bodybuilder also needs to adhere strictly to a targeted, healthy and natural diet all of which should be optionally supplemented with natural nutrients.
